Last Spring Weekend
June 14th through 17th   
After arriving at the lake, the first thing to do these days is to check the rain guage.  We got just under an inch of rain over the last two weeks.
The creek bed is dry, we need more rain.
The water temperature is very good.  Almost 74 F by mid-June makes swimmers happy.
Sunsets were good on a few of the weekend evenings.
Flowers are peaking around the lake.
The lake has dropped an inch and a half since June first.  We need more rain.
Mrs Nemo noted that the acorns need to grow into their hats.
I was told that these orange ones are related to dandelions.

If this page were being made on Monday, when it should have, there would be more than a few calls for rain peppered between every word.  The rain finally hit the lake this week,  2.5 inches by Thursday afternoon.  Huzzah!  We still need more, but the lake should finish June with a gain.  Lawns around the lake will need mowing before the end of June also.  More rain please.  The fish and the skiers were very active all weekend.
