The Weekend After Labor Day Weekend
September 7th through 9th
The weather all weekend was quite summer-like but the lake area had a fall feel to it due perhaps to the sun's angle coupled with the lack of boat traffic. Every morning steam would rise from the lake and the water temperature would become a bit cooler.
The lake continues to shrink.  We are now -22 inches wrt the nail, a new low.
Most trees are still very green, but a few are displaying "peak" color.

Boats and lifts are in late this year as the owners try to find solutions to get the boats off the lifts.  A ton of rain would help.  Or an army of stout men in a boat lifting mood.  Yoda seemed good at picking ships out of swamps.  Anyone have his phone number?
