First Weekend in August

Next »

August 1st through 5th, 2007

When we first arrived on Wednesday evening, we rushed to see the ski show and made it before the first act with 3 minutes to spare. The show was very good. I'll try to get clips of all the acts posted before the end of the year. Hot, sunny (for the most part) and windless. The weekend was made for summer up-north activity (except for sailing). The lake temperature is close to 80°F. This coupled with the lite wind made it very swim-able, dive-able, ski-able. Bar night was well attended and the Bailey's comet made several appearances. The water level is low. Very low. 18 inches below the nail low. Some boats were pulled for fear that they would be stuck on the lifts if the water falls any more. If anyone knows a rain dance, now's the time.

-Nemo
