Last April Weekend
April 27th through 30th
Friday night was wonderfully still and a bit cool for summer, warm for spring.
The darker, late season syrup was bottled just after sunset.
Saturday started off clear and calm, and stayed that way for the rest of the day.
The clear skies and fullish moon made for a bright night.
Shot glasses made of ice were part of a festive foundation for bar night.
The lake on Saturday evening was a sheet of unskied glass.  The east shore hill should be greening up in the next few weeks.
Taps were pulled and buckets washed all weekend, marking the end of the 2007 sapping season.  We helped by taking a few pictures, doing 27 holes of golf.
Timber Shores construction is moving along.

It was hard to pull ourselves from the northwoods, but we had some work scheduled for the weekend.  We'll be back.
