| The sunset on Friday was great but came much sooner than I was used to. |
| The night air was cool and sky was clear and moonless. It almost seemed like you could read by the light of the Milky Way. |
| The trees were changing but peak color is still a few weeks away. |
| The lake level continues to fall. It's about 7 inches below the nail. |
| The quality of the lake water is without match. Very clear and getting very cold. |
| We had some much needed rain on Saturday. It did not seem to make much difference to the lake level. |
| All weekend the lake was rough but some skied anyway. It seems lately that when the webcam is alone the lake flattens out but when skiers come up it gets angry. We'll be back to angry-up the lake soon (and to take pictures of the fall colors). |
