Easter Weekend

On Friday, when we arrived, the ice largely covered the lake but was starting to break-up.

The north shore was populated with ducks much of the weekend.

The Nicolet Golf Club is open! The course is in O.K. shape. The fairways are a bit lumpy.

Easter dinner was enjoyed by all.

You have heard of "running with the bulls". On Saturday I was introduced to "Swimming with the Cubes". To my knowledge, no one skied.

Water is pouring into the lake from the creek on the north end. The lake is down. We need rain.

How far down? Almost 3 inches below the nail. We have lost an inch since ice-in.

The wind picked up during the night on Saturday and this is all the the ice that survived. It was gone by noon.

The weather all weekend was very summer like. We'll be back next weekend to attend the maple syrup festival.
