Winter Weekend II
February 20th & 21st
And I thought there was a lot of snow last weekend.  Clearing the fresh 10+ inches of the white stuff that greeted us was made worse by running out of places to put it.
The roof clearing tool continues to work well.  I even shot a short MPG.
There is plenty of snow on the lake.  Under the snow is a slush and water level then ice.  Moving around is not easy.
Given the strange strata, it's hard to be exact on the ice thickness.  It's close to 20 inches.
The lane was plowed and easy to move on.
The new construction on the road stunned us.  This went up in about 24 hours by a team of 8 guys.
One of the least fun of our tasks was to shovel a path to the holding tank and check "fullness".  It took a good 15 minutes to even find the tank cover.
We did not see anyone use this picnic table the entire time we were up.
The sun was hidden all day Saturday and more snow was predicted for Sunday night.  We'll be back next week.
