It got very dark, very windy, and very wet in a very short time. There was much electrical activity for the first few hours.
By late Saturday morning, the rain had stopped. All the creeks and streams feeding into the lake, which were dry 2 weeks ago, were full of flowing water.
Saturday evening had a great sunset, a campfire, and beer.
The rocks in front of Walerko's are starting to slip under the clear, cold water. If the lake can get 5 or 6 more weeks like this last one, the level will be close to the nail and there will be many happy people on the south end that will have access again. An eagle and several loons fished the north end all weekend, jumping the gun on the start of the game fishing season.
