Last week had a very late autumnal feel. Daily highs in the 40s°F and lows that resulted in a hard freeze or two are now the norm. A few days held enough warmth to include a golf round or a set of tennis, but the golf course was closed and the local courts have been de-netted and pickelball-ized. It was a good time to plan a board meeting and not slip in the frost.
Clouds rolled in around mid-week. Before the sky cleared, there was some rain. There was not enough accumulation to recover much of the lake level lost since July, but any amount helps.
