There was some wind during the rain. Enough wind to dislodge an umbrella from a hand or dock or something. It floated to the north end. While we were lowering a boat to rescue it, it sunk about 20 meters from shore.

With piers, lifts, and boats in, it's time to scrape a few knees, pull some muscles, and scratch those bug bites. The rain has made for a bumper crop of mosquitoes. I don't remember them ever being this thick in the woods. Pollen counts are high, too. The wise summer fun pushers have already stocked up on ibuprofen, Bactine, and tourniquets. This spring, you may want to include Zyrtec to that list.
