Not Warm
November 4th through 11th

The plan was to mow the lawn one last time before the end of Fall. Ha!

The plan also included the removal of the last of the piers, paddle boat, and raft. This part of the plan is still a go, but it's going to be refreshing.

Here, in the extreme southwestern area of the lake, the knottlane board meeting and pool party has turned a bloodshot eye to spicing up cocktail hour at the bar. Sure, some of the ingredients may be hard to get and illegal to possess, but that's a small price to pay for drinks that warm the soul, bar, and everything else over a mile from the epicenter.

Lake Mead is a tad lower than Lake Lucerne. Make that two tads lower. It was reported today on FOX 5 that water is going to be released from Lake Powell to raise Lake Mead by a foot. Only 129 feet to go!

Lawns will remain un-mowed until Spring. Albino Thanksgiving, that pink eyed, frozen butterball riding, snow shovel clutching, rarest of the four horsemen of the snowpocalypse, is once again upon us. No swimming unless you are one the unfortunate that still has their pier, paddle boat, and raft in. Then, good luck with that.
