| Middle of September Weekend September 12th through 14th |

| A heavy mist gave way to rain later on Saturday. The heavy stuff started coming down while we were on the 14th hole. All were wet by the 18th. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Again, a great sunset after golf on Friday. The golf course was in great shape and dry. The dry would not last. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The rain was needed. Several lifts are still in the water and if we don't get more rain, they won't be. Without being moved. The lake temperature is down to 66 F. | The trees are starting to turn. I would estimate about 10% color in the northwoods. It should be closer to 25% next weekend. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Okay, it was a little cool. And rainy. And the lake was low. And a slow 5-some of women held us up. In the rain. But Mrs. Nemo and I agreed that there would be no other place we would rather be this weekend. Also the post office lady was very friendly and helpful. You can't say that here in Milwaukee. Well you could, but you'd be lying. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
