Middle of May Weekend

Rain on Friday night, reflected the lights and pushed the lake level up a bit.
Saturday morning looked like an old Hamm's beer commercial.
*cue the tom-toms*
From the Land of Sky Blue Waters
From the land of pines, lofty balsams
Comes the beer refreshing
Hamm's the beer refreshing...
Early evening showers on Saturday kept us off the golf course. The sky cleared somewhat just after sunset.  Yes, that is a Hamm's beer can on the right.
The webcam is working well.  To my knowledge, no one has yet seen a skier on the north end.  There has not been very many fisherman on the lake this year either.
The trillium are peaking.  Patches of white are all over the forest floor.
Other flowers are out as well.

The lake is up about a half of an inch.  That's still 19.5 inches below the nail.  We need lots of rain.  It typically peaks by the end of June before losing about 7 inches or more before ice-in  Make sure you get those boat-lifts out deep this year.
