Memorial Day Weekend + 3
June 16th through 18th
The weather this weekend was fantastic for playing in the northwoods.  It was sunny, hot, and humid.  It was not so good if you wanted to move 5 yards of stone under a deck or drill in over 15 pounds of deck screws.
Putting on decking and moving rock was briefly interrupted Saturday evening as a strong storm dumped about 0.40 inches of rain on the lake in about 15 minutes.
The gust front of Saturday's weather gave theTimber Shores beach a "wild party" look.
The trillum are gone, but other species have sprung up to add color to the area.
There are yellow ones too.
During the deck work, we were adopted by a very friendly cat (kitten really).  The strangely affectionate, almost dog-like beastie clung to us all weekend.
By late Sunday afternoon the top of the deck was finished and it was time to leave, sigh.
The lake level is below the nail again.  Historically we loose another 5 to 10 inches by the end of a typical summer.  Make sure your lifts are deep enough.
Next weekend it's rails, ramps, and stairs.  The call of non-construction related activities may be strong enough to pull us into the water, golf course, and woods.  Either way, there will be pictures.
