After a particularly unfortunate round of golf on Friday, it was too dark to put in lifts so the bar was opened. Due perhaps to the lack of advertisement, the crowd was sparse but the bad golf put them in a feisty mood. The bar was closed at 3:00 AM after debates on religion, politics, and the proper height to tee a ball up on the first hole.

By 6:45 AM the surfaces touched by the sun were frost free. The shadows held onto their frost for a while longer.

The ice on the tulips was impressive, cold.

After the spine destroying feats of strength involving boat lifts and piers, Saturday night bar rail bowling proved to be the best use of tees yet.

The water this time of year can only be described as crystal. Cold would also be an acceptible description..

The mayflies are out in force. Traveling in groups of a few thousand, they seem to dive into open mouths and eyes. Nothing worse than mayfly in the lungs.

The webcam continues to function well. Sometime during the summer it will be made streaming again.

By Memorial day, the water should be higher (currently -2.0 inches WRT the nail) and warmer (currently 48.6°F). Hopefully the fishing will be better also.
