Friday evening was cool, the sky was blue and the wind lite.
Late season plants were all over any open area. They were particularly abundant in yards that really needed a mowing.
Suprisingly, peak color seems about a week away.
There were trees that were well into the color thing but, for the most part, green was the predominant color.

Some chose to not go quietly into fall and skied on the rough and cool water. Most just pulled out boats for winter storage.
The waves picked up and the skies clouded over late in the afternoon. Much needed rain fell most of Sunday and into Monday. We'll be back in 2 weeks to see if the wet weather has had any positive effect on the lake level.
