The Last Weekend of the Summer?

Thursday and Friday were picture perfect. The dry, sunny and calm.weather was not to last into the weekend.

The nights were crystal clear. To the north you could see Andromeda (M31) with the naked eye.

The Milky Way dominated the sky overhead.

By Saturday the clouds were movng in and it started getting windy.

Great weather to attend Lake Lucerne Fun Days!

The event seemed well attended but parking was not a problem early.

This old Model T truck caught our eye.

I particularly liked the flying duck radiator cap.

There was an auction.

The basketball contest was augmented with a football throwing event.

All the action left us happy yet tired by the time we left.

Some accepted the September weather, others choose to rage against it (which did not help).

We may yet see some seasonal weather, but the leaf changing feels just a few weeks away.
