There are some very slippery patches on the lake and there are other patches that are essentially frictionless. Woe to the un-beskated lake crosser that has the misfortune to step onto one of these frictionless areas. Contusions and lumps will surely be yours. Lucerne usually goes out about a week or two after Wabikon and Wabikon is not even close. Next weekend should be telling. The snow fences and poles are off the golf course (Nicolet Country Club). Tees and flags are not up yet, but it looks like golf could be back soon.
