The weather early in the week was good. Sunny, calm, with a bit less heat than would otherwise be expected during the summer.
Then it changed. Cold, cloudy, with just enough rain to annoy but not enough to really raise the lake level any real amount. Yuck.
Cold air, cold water, and a distinctively autumnal feel. It would seem that the economic down-turn has affected the seasons. Summer has been laid off. And it's just sitting around watching daytime TV and collecting unemployment checks instead of looking for work. If you happen to come across summer sitting on your couch or living in your parents basement, tell it to get up and get a job.
