When handed the new laminated color menu my first thought was "Meager". After all, this was formally the Lake Metonga Supper Club. It's not anymore. The new owners have created a sports bar that has a comfortable feel and a great lake view. I had the ham & cheese sandwich and Mrs. Nemo had the rubin.. They were OK. Our third wheel, Krispa, had the cheese burger and onion rings. I'll admit to being a little bit envious. The burger looked and smelled excellent. The battered onion rings I was able to pilfer were praiseworthy. I declare them the best onion rings in forest county! If your looking for a full meal this in not the place. If you're looking for a good sandwich, great burger or delicious onion rings in a relaxed atmosphere overlooking a lake or watching a game this is a very good selection.
